The company was founded with the story of Sam (an advocate) practising law in a few parts of the world, who relocated to South Africa with his family and experienced a severe hailstorm in Johannesburg. The intense hailstorm necessitated repairs to his home, and while interacting with various contractors, he was dissatisfied with their work ethic, quality, and commitment. Drawing on his background as a former construction company owner operating in Australia, he decided to launch his own venture after a decade, now based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
